Sipping on warm tea and meeting with Rachel Cohen of The Baker’s Rack is like sitting with an old friend reminiscing over good times. Rachel radiates warmth in her personality, and it shows in the love she puts into her custom cookies.
Check these out! It’s such a visual treat for the eyes.
I came across Rachel when I was looking for a local baker to make cookies as part of my realtor closing gifts for clients. Did she deliver! I recently asked her for a Star Wars themed cookie set and I loved the end result, but more importantly, my buyer client screamed with excitement and joy when she saw the cookies! You wouldn’t believe how much happiness a set of cookies can bring to someone’s day.
Meet Rachel
A native of the Merrimack Valley, Rachel has a background that is the perfect recipe for her craft. From an early age, she watched her mother bake. The mother-daughter duo spent many hours bonding in the kitchen. Rachel later baked cakes for her peers while she was still in high school. She eventually studied at culinary art schools, and worked for local bakeries, hotels and restaurants where she honed her skills.
She loves making cookies because it allows her creative freedom. I love her cookies because they’re just amazing, little goodies from heaven! It’s the perfect personal touch to any gift. I am a health-conscious individual, but that doesn’t stop me from an occasional sweet. Everything in moderation, friends!
Rachel has big plans for the future of her business, including appearances at the Haverhill Farmer’s Market. Maybe we’ll even see a mobile store-front RV? You never know! She is an ambitious woman with nothing stopping her.
