I can’t believe it’s September already! Here is this month’s list of fun events happening in the Boston Northshore.

September 10th and 11th: Come join Newburyport Youth Services from 6pm-9pm to catch a drive-in movie at beautiful Plum Island Point! Showing Disney’s Cars and family-favorite, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off! (Plum Island)
September 17th: Head over to beautiful downtown Amesbury for the Bryony & Birch Porch Fest! Enjoy local food, drink, and live music. Better yet, small businesses have pop-ups for you to explore while you’re at it! Porch Fest is held at 48 Main Street, and runs from 4pm-8pm. (Amesbury)
September 18th: Enjoy Plum Island’s free annual music festival, Plumfest, from 12pm-6pm! Local porches turn into stages during this grassroots, entirely volunteer-run event. You won’t want to miss it! (Plum Island)
September 19th: Who doesn’t love Hard Cider during the fall? Check out Cider Hill Farm’s Hard Cider Bar & Live Music (with The Splinters) from 12pm-4pm! The farm’s spectacular foodtruck and non-alcoholic sparkling cider options are available. Visit their website to RSVP! (Amesbury)
September 19th: It’s family day at historical John Greenleaf Whittier’s birthplace! BYO picnic and enjoy the beautiful scenery, outdoor games, and farm animals. (Haverhill)
September 25th: Every year, the city of Haverhill has a festival called River Ruckus to celebrate the natural resources and beauty of the Merrimac River. It’s a day of family activities including a Classic Car show, live music produced by 92.5 The River, children’s activities in the Kids Zone, food from local restaurants, an art exhibition, a crafts show, and spectacular fireworks.
September 25th: Swing by Amesbury for The Annual Carriagetown Car Show! Come see classic showcars dating from 1989 (and older) from 9am-2pm. The rain date for this event is Sunday, September 26th. (Amesbury)
September Sundays: The Haverhill Multicultural Festival will be hosting a series of shows to highlight the diversity of ethnic cultures in the area. Music performances, restaurant filmings, and dances are a few of the planned episodes. Yours truly will be hosting the 2nd episode! Sundays at 5pm.
