New England offers a lot of activities during the fall season. Here is my October Events 2021 list of events in the Boston Northshore.

October 7th: Plum Island Beachcoma Musical Bingo
Come test your musical knowledge at the Plum Island Beachcoma from 7:00pm-9:00pm! Grab a bite to eat with friends and brush up on your musical skills with tunes from every era. Prizes awarded for winners! All bingo supplies are provided.
October 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th: Friday Night Frights Family Movie Night
Gather up your comfiest blankets and your camp chairs for this free family movie event! The family-friendly Halloween movies will be shown at Heritage Park in the Lower Millyard around 7:00pm (dusk). Coastal Connections will be vending popcorn and snacks to fuel the fall fun!
October 15th: Porch Fest
Head over to beautiful downtown Amesbury for the Bryony & Birch Porch Fest! Enjoy local food, drink, and live music. Better yet, small businesses have pop-ups for you to explore while you’re at it! Porch Fest is held at 48 Main Street, and runs from 4:00pm-8:00pm.
October 16th: Fall Festival Craft Fair
Come visit the Amesbury Main Street Congregational Church for their fall craft fair! Enjoy a smattering of local vendors and the Amesbury Scarecrow contest while you visit! The event runs from 9:00am-3:00pm.
October 16th: Great Pumpkin Hunt
Plan a trip to historical downtown Newburyport to participate in the Great Pumpkin Hunt of 2021! Find pumpkins at your favorite local retailers and enter to win a raffle prize. Makes for a great day of family fun! The event runs from 10:00am-6:00pm.
October 22nd: Witches’ Night Out
This adult-friendly event is a local favorite! Dress up in your finest costume from 6:00pm-9:00pm and take to the streets of downtown Newburyport for a night of Halloween delight! Merchants and more offer up seasonal treats, shopping and more…you won’t want to miss it!
October 24th: Sweet Halloween
New England is famous for its fall foliage: and there’s none finer than the leaves at Cider Hill Farm! Join the farm for a trick-or-treating experience with your family from 10:00am-3:00pm. Children require a ticket, so check out Cider Hill Farm’s website to RSVP!
