Why an article about Boston wedding venues? Well, I’ll let you in on a little known fact about me. I used to be a wedding coordinator. I’m not kidding! It was a job I stumbled into when I planned my own wedding.
Helping people has always been my nature. I loved sharing the ideas I learned from my own wedding with other brides on TheKnot.com, a popular wedding planning website. I hung out in the forums nearly every day, and responded to brides when they questions or requests for help. One bride, Erica, took notice. She asked me to help her with her Halloween wedding.
Here are some photos from that wedding, as featured in The Knot magazine:
I love looking at wedding photos and I still do. I love all the details. I can be a bit of a perfectionist and the details always mattered to me. After that first wedding, business just took off by pure word of mouth!
I’m forever humbled and grateful for the experience of helping couples on a significant day in their lives. Some things haven’t changed. Now I get to help couples buy their homes! 🙂
When it comes to weddings, the perfect venue has to have a little bit of magic.
